Travelling through Singapore on your way to another country? Eligible travellers may qualify for Singapore's 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF), allowing them to enter Singapore without obtaining a separate entry visa for a qualifying transit visit.
This facility may be available to nationals of certain countries, including Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Ukraine. Eligibility depends on the traveller's nationality, itinerary, travel documents and immigration requirements.
For this VFTF category, ICA includes nationals of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
Nationals of India and holders of certain Chinese travel documents may qualify under separate VFTF conditions, which differ from those listed above.
The Visa-Free Transit Facility is assessed by Singapore immigration authorities. We do not process VFTF applications; this information is provided to help travellers understand their transit options. Our FAQ answers common questions about visa-free transit.
